This newly-created position of Regional Policy Director will lead efforts to direct more public resources to improving safety and access for active transportation and seek opportunities to unify state and local bicycle and pedestrian traffic laws.

The ideal candidate will work well with governmental leaders and agency staff to bring together active transportation backers in support of a common vision. Maneuvering through complex community political issues with sensitivity while keeping a project on track will be a key component of this role. Initial focus will be on the Denver metro area.

Ride your bike, log your miles and show that Colorado has the most dedicated bicylists in the country as part of the National Bike Challenge this summer.

The National Bike Challenge is a bicycling challenge program that will run from May 1 through September 30.

The 2013 Bicycle Colorado Gala was another success! More than 300 people attended, donating $51,000 to help improve conditions for people who ride bicycles in Colorado.
