Careless Driving Bill - Senate Bill 204

Careless Driving Bill Signed into Law The new law increases the penalty for careless driving resulting in death. Now, the number of points added to a drivers' license has increased from 4 points to 12 points with the new law. When a driver accumulates 12 points, their license is revoked. The Colorado Department of Transportation adopted a statewide policy to include the needs of bicyclists in every planning, design, and operation of state transportation facilities as a matter of routine. When a motorist behaves in an aggressive or dangerous manner towards a bicyclist, you now can take action. Get the license number and dial *CSP from your cell phone. Just remember Colorado State Patrol.
