Careless Driving Bill Signed into Law The new law increases the penalty for careless driving resulting in death. Now, the number of points added to a drivers' license has increased from 4 points to 12 points with the new law. When a driver accumulates 12 points, their license is revoked. Colorado Bicycle Policy Adopted- State Highways to Improve for Bicycling
The Colorado Department of Transportation adopted a statewide policy to include the needs of bicyclists in every planning, design, and operation of state transportation facilities as a matter of routine. Bicycle Colorado has been working toward this outcome for the past two years. Thanks to our members, the complete streets campaign is producing results.
